Cloud Atlas was… interesting. I get the whole reasoning in using the same characters in different lives, but you can’t turn an asian woman into a ginger white girl, it will never not look weird.
The rest of it is still processing. I have to see it again.
Prometheus
Prometheus is more than the average HOLY-SHIT-GET-THE-FUCK-OUT-THE-ALIENS-ARE-GONNA-KILL-YOU flick; it’s deeper than that. Life, death, the (not so) great beyond, these are all major themes of the story. If you think hard enough, or cling to an idea of deeper meaning in everything, I’m sure you could dissect it further, but I don’t have the time or interest for that.
